Majorcan Pearls are faux pearls that are produced on the island. Pearl production has been in existence since the 19th century on the island and they are now globally recognised for their quiality and ‘perfection’.
The pearls are produced in the town of Manacor by a brand called Perlas Majorica where their main factory is and there is even a special tourist section where you can learn about the pearly producion.
Another popular pearl brand on the island is Perlas Orquidea which is situated on the road to Montuiri, which also offers guided tours of the factory.

If you would like to buy the pearls on your holiday most resorts have an outlet or shop concession that sells them, and you can also buy them online.
