Magaluf is well known for it’s nightlife, which is busy and lively and certainly something which can’t be ignored when visiting. There are well over one hundred bars in and around the area of Magaluf and Palma Nova, as well as clubs and discos which are often open until dawn particularly in the summer months.
For those wanting an action packed holiday with dancing till dawn and water sports during the day, this is a perfect location as the area is much more suited to this than to lazy days on the beach. Nightlife is centred around the Punta Ballena strip and you can buy a Magaluf club pass for around 12 euros which gives you entry to five of the main clubs in the area.
Food is available in many guises here, from fast food outlets to restaurants serving the traditional fayre of many different nations from Spanish and English to Chinese and Indian. Food isn’t expensive either generally, so you can really go to town on eating out when here without emptying your pockets – an average traditional Spanish meal might cost you around 12 euros.

The island is known by this name because of the many black lizards that can be seen sunning themselves on the rocks there. The longest route from the shore of the bay is from the southern end of the beach to the island, and is about 800 metres.
Just a ten minute walk away from Magaluf is the Western Water Park which is probably the favourite water park in Mallorca and is certainly the only western themed one that the island boasts. It has a variety of rides available, from La Bestia (The Beast), a thirty metre water drop, to Olivers Water Show where you can see water acrobats showing off, there are water slides of all different sizes and types, and basically there is something
